Former Phila. Judge Suspended for Campaign Finance Scheme Involving Congressional Bid | The Legal Intelligencer –

A former Philadelphia senior judge received a four-year, retroactive suspension from the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania on March 17 for his campaign finance violations and convictions in federal court.

Jimmie Moore was elected judge of the Philadelphia Municipal Court in 1999 and later served as a senior judge from December 2016 until he resigned in September 2017. He resumed active status to practice law in March 2018, but the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania placed him on a temporary suspension in May 2019 for his criminal activity. The four-year suspension will be retroactive to May 2019 when the court first suspended his license, according to court records.
